San Magno is entirely made by Cesanese d’Affile grapes. The grapes are carefully selected in the vineyard, located in particular micro areas in Anagni.
Winemaker’s notes
Fermentation on the grapes skin, with periodical pumping over and delestage, maceration for 18 -24 days at controlled temperature 25-28°C. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel thermo controlled tanks.
Refining
In french oak barriques for 12 months followed by 6 more months in steel tanks before bottling. It can be enjoyed many years after bottling.
Organoleptic analysis
Colour: intense ruby red Fragrance: red ripe fruits. Taste: smooth with a great structure, persistent and aromatic.

Beef or lamb stew, roasted meat, aged cheeses, cold cuts.
